Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and HURYN Sp. z o.o., ul. Hoża 29, 00-521 Warszawa, Poland (KRS 0000893173, NIP 7011027727, REGON 388627882) — “we” — for your use of AskOne. By opening a room or joining one, you accept them.
1. What AskOne is
A live question-and-answer tool. An administrator opens a room and gets a join code; an audience opens the link and asks and upvotes questions without an account. Whoever opens the room chooses whether questions are held for approval first.
2. Accounts
- You need an account to open or moderate rooms. You do not need one to take part.
- Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- An organization’s administrator decides who joins it and what role they hold, and is responsible for the rooms that organization runs.
- You must be at least 16, or have your guardian’s permission.
3. Your content
Questions and display names belong to whoever wrote them. We store them exactly as typed and never edit them. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to store, display and transmit that content to the room it was written for.
Questions are public within their room. Anyone holding the join code can read the approved queue, and the projector view shows it on a wall. Do not put anything in a question you would not want read out.
4. Moderation, and who answers for it
Moderation is a choice, not something every room does: the workspace chooses when it creates a room, and may change it at any time afterwards. With it on, a question stays hidden until an administrator or a moderator approves it; with it off, every question is visible the moment it is asked. Turning moderation off makes the questions already waiting visible to everyone in the room, including on the projector; turning it on holds only new questions and leaves what has already been approved visible. We do not moderate rooms for you and we do not review their content. The workspace that owns a room is responsible for what is shown in it, whether or not it approves questions first, including any decision to reject a question or ban a participant.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law, and we will say why when we can.
5. What you may not do
- Break the law, or use AskOne to harass, threaten or defame anyone.
- Post someone else’s personal data, or content you have no right to post.
- Attempt to reach a room, workspace or account that is not yours, or to work around a ban, a plan limit or a rate limit.
- Attack the service — flooding, scraping at scale, probing for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or interfering with anyone else’s session.
- Resell AskOne or present it as your own product.
6. Plans and payment
- The Free plan allows one open room at a time and up to 100 participants in it. No card is required, and it does not expire.
- The Premium plan allows up to 10 rooms open at once and up to 1,000 participants per room.
- Subscriptions are billed by Clerk through Stripe. We never see your card details. Prices shown on the pricing page come from that system and are what you will be charged.
- Cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights are unaffected.
- If we change a price we will tell you before it applies to you, and you may cancel instead.
7. Keeping your data
Closing a room stops participation; it does not delete anything. Room data is kept for 30 days after a room closes. Export what you need before then. The detail — including what does and does not yet happen automatically — is in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability
We work to keep AskOne up but do not promise uninterrupted service on any plan, and we may take it down for maintenance. There is no service level agreement unless we have signed one with you.
9. Liability
AskOne is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intentional harm, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Polish law — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Ending it
You may stop using AskOne and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. On closure, room data is deleted in line with the privacy policy.
11. Law and disputes
Polish law governs these terms, and the courts of Warsaw have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings where you live.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and we notify administrators and moderators of material changes by email. Continuing to use AskOne after that means you accept them.
