View survey results

Survey results reach three places: your console, the audience’s phones and the projector. Once a room closes, its Report adds them up beside the room’s questions and participation. Administrators can also export them as CSV at any time.

In the console, while the session runs

Administrators and moderators see every launched survey’s results as they come in, in the Surveys panel, whether or not they are shared with the room. A poll or quiz shows the votes and percentage for each option, a rating also shows its average, and a word cloud shows its words with a list of Responses, each of which you can Hide. Multiple-choice percentages are of respondents, so they can add up to more than 100%.

To check what the room is being shown, switch the Questions panel to Audience view, which shows the surveys the way participants see them, or select Open as a participant.

On the phones and the projector

When Participants see results is ticked:

Unticked, the results stay in your console. Shared results stay on the screens until a newer survey takes their place or you choose Remove from screens; see Publish a survey.

The Report, after closing

When a room closes, its console shows a Report, which administrators and moderators can read:

The figures are current rather than frozen: moderation after closing can change them. Someone who only read the room is not counted. Reopening the room replaces the Report with the live figures until it closes again.

Exports

Administrators can download a room’s data as CSV from the Export menu on its console:

Moderators cannot export. An agent can read survey results too, with an administrator’s API token; see AskOne MCP server.
